This workshop will present Meditation inspired and informed by the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and by the Shiva Sutras. You will become acquainted with the practical dynamics of the meditative process and gain an understanding of how meditation can be easeful, natural and effortless. You will learn how a meditation practice fits into and supports active lives full of responsibilities and creative enterprises.
The workshop is based on ancient teachings that we experience ourselves as limited beings who suffer from ignorance and contraction which obscure our true nature. The ancient yogic texts address this condition of limited identity and offer us a guide towards individual freedom and human fulfillment.
